Last month we had our Lydia NZ National Prayer & Planning Team and Trust Board annual meeting. We would like to share with you the word we believe is for this season.
The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me. Song of Songs 2:10-13 TPT
For the last two years, we have sensed the call of God to New Zealand Lydians to press into the Lord’s presence, to refocus on Jesus, and in Him become refreshed, rested and resilient.
In 2023 we are sensing a shift in the season. Harvest time is here and the call for this season is “Rise up and take the land!”
There was a sense that the Lion of Judah is sending out a strong roar – a clear directive to those who need to return to the House of God. He is calling them to put down their roots under Godly authority where they will receive protection, provision and hope for the future (Hosea 11:10)
For those who have spent the last few years refocusing on Jesus, the roar of the Lord signals the time to move forward and occupy the spaces the enemy has held. We respond to this roar and fulfil our calling by entering the battle from the place of intimacy we have nurtured in the recent season. This is the time for courageous prayer – the Lord is with us! When we step into battle under the covering of the Lord’s authority, we can expect to see the enemy flee. We bless you in 2023 to hear the roar of the Lion and respond in the authority given to you in the mighty name of Jesus. May you see new levels of breakthrough as you step out boldly to rise up and take the land
May God Bless you all in every season
